If you are an IDOL student and studying in the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) from the distance education department of the University of Mumbai. This post dedicates to all IDOL Students, I will add a section in this post about IDOL Mumbai university’s new updates Like results, examination dates, mark sheet distribution dates, study material, etc.
Mumbai University, IDOL offers Under Graduate courses and Post Graduate Courses like BA, BCom, BAF, BSc in Computer Science (CS), and BSc in Information Technology (IT). In Post Graduation courses, IDOL offers admission to MA, MSc, MCom, MCA, MBA, and MMS. IDOL also offers postgraduate Diploma courses in finance and operational research (PGDFM and PGDORM) of two years duration.

What is RR in Result?
It is Results held in Reserve. Results are normally held in reserve for the following reasons.
- Non-passing of lower examinations
- Non-receipt of Transfer / Eligibility Certificate
- Non-submission of First Degree certificate required for Masters Degree results etc.
PROCEDURE :
- Apply for declaration of result through respective college / Institution with a copy of the statement of marks of lower examination, first-degree certificate, certificate of eligibility / Transfer, etc. whatever is applicable.
- Upon receipt of the application duly recommended by the college with relevant documents/information and completion of the process result will be declared within the following period.

The University of Mumbai is one of the first state universities in India and the oldest in Maharashtra. The University of Mumbai offers Bachelor’ Master’s Doctoral courses, diplomas, and certificates in many disciplines. The language of instruction for most courses is English. The University of Mumbai has three campuses across Mumbai (Kalina Campus, Thane Sub Campus, and Fort Campus) and one outside Mumbai. The Fort campus carries out administrative work only. Several institutes in Mumbai previously affiliated with the university are now autonomous institutes or universities.
History
The university started its correspondence education on 24th March 1971. It was known as the “Directorate of Correspondence Programmes.” In the year 1985, it was upgraded to the “Directorate of Distance Education” which was further 1993, upgraded to the “Institute of Distance Education” (IDE). In the academic year 2008-09 the “The Institute of Distance Education” is now named “INSTITUTE OF DISTANCE AND OPEN LEARNING”(IDOL). Since its inception IDOL has been giving high priority to human resource development.
Mumbai University conducts annual and semester exams. Mumbai University also organizes Distance Exams IDOL Exams. The number of students appear every year in Mumbai University Examination. So, Now They are looking for their Result from Mumbai University Regular Distance IDOL Exams 2020 and 2021. Candidates can see their results in the following table.
